We Know Beans About Coffee

Elixir Coffee is owned and operated by two Brisbane brothers, Jason and David Narciso. We have been heavily involved in the coffee industry for two generations, beginning with our mother, Carmel Narciso.

Our knowledge of the coffee industry all started when Carmel and her uncle bought Cosmopolitan Coffee from Ettore Tartaglia in a small shop front in the Brunswick Street Mall in Brisbane in the late 1980’s. After relocating to a larger shop front shortly thereafter, they saw the potential in a greater demand for specialty roasted coffee and made the decision to expand their services to include freshly roasted coffee beans for wholesale clients - and boy, did it boom! Cosmopolitan Coffee was the first wholesale and retail roasting house in Queensland.

Before starting Elixir Coffee, we owned and operated a number of successful cafés in the Brisbane CBD. We have seen, heard and learned all about the coffee industry from the ages of 5 and 8.

With so much passion (and coffee) running through our family bloodline, we were excited to impart and share everything about coffee as we continued the family tradition to start our own coffee company: Elixir Coffee - Coffee for the Soul.

Elixir Coffee has expanded rapidly in the last two years. Our Roasting Warehouse and retail outlet are located at our headquarters at 12 Hayward St., Brisbane. From our retail shop, we sell freshly roasted coffee beans, domestic and commercial machinery, accessories and all that is related to the coffee industry.

The HQ Espresso Lounge serves Breakfast, Lunch, Coffee and Sweets. You can see the coffee being roasting in the next room; enjoy some fabulous food and a cup or two of the most sensational coffee in Brisbane.

The other side to our business is a training facility for our wholesales and retail customers to further their knowledge, skills and passion for the coffee industry. We like to think of all our customers, big and small, as part of the family. We look forward to seeing you at our roasting house very soon.
